We invite you to apply to the Doctorate in Science, major in Applied Cellular and Molecular Biology program offered by Universidad de la Frontera. This program is designed to train researchers who will significantly impact the industrial and scientific development of the country.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Entry Profile: The student who enters the Doctoral Programme in Applied Cellular and Molecular Biology has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the areas of biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, agricultural sciences or other degrees related to the Biological Sciences. Demonstrates motivation and competences for research development, showing scientific productivity and participation in academic-scientific activities. In addition, he/she has the ability to read and understand scientific articles in English (Article 5, Internal Doctoral Regulations, Res. Ex. 3063, September 2023).

  • Foreign applicants must submit documents duly legalized by the relevant authorities at the time of enrolment in the Program.

SELECTION PROCESS

The documents received will be assessed by the Programme Committee, and the pre-selection order will be based solely on the submitted credentials. The final selection of students will be approved by the Programme Committee following a personal interview and a diagnostic evaluation of English language proficiency.
